We make old decks new again with our expert deck painting and refinishing services.
A well-maintained deck is an extension of your living space, providing a place to relax, entertain, and enjoy the outdoors. However, over time, decks can become weathered and worn, losing their beauty and functionality. If your deck is in need of a refresh, Malone Painting is your one-stop shop for deck refinishing and painting services in the Greater St. Louis area.
Malone Painting is confident that we can transform your deck into an outdoor oasis that you and your family will enjoy for years to come.
Thorough Cleaning
The first step in our deck preparation process is a thorough cleaning. We power wash the entire deck to remove dirt, grime, and mildew, leaving it looking clean and refreshed. Power washing also helps to remove loose paint and prepare the surface for sanding.
Repairing Damaged Boards
We carefully inspect all of your deck boards for any signs of damage, such as cracks, splinters, or rot. Any damaged boards will be replaced to ensure the structural integrity and safety of your deck.
After cleaning and repairing, we sand the entire deck to create a smooth and even surface. Sanding removes any remaining loose paint and prepares the wood for proper paint or stain adhesion.
Priming for Optimal Protection
We apply a high-quality primer to all bare surfaces of the deck. This step helps to seal the wood and prevent peeling and discoloration, ensuring that your deck's new coat of paint or stain looks its best for years to come.
Choosing the Right Stain
Once the preparation process is complete, we work with you to choose the perfect stain or paint color to complement your home's exterior and create the desired aesthetic for your outdoor space.
Final Walk Through
At the end of the project, our Production Manager will conduct a final walk through with you to make sure everything is perfect. If you are not 100% satisfied, touch-ups will be scheduled.
3 Year Workmanship Guarantee
Malone Painting guarantees the quality of our work for 3 years (36 months) after the project completion date. This warranty covers peeling, blistering, cracking, flaking, and excessive chalking that occur due to improper application of paint materials under normal wear and tear. We refer to these issues as "Warranted Conditions."
