Malone Painting guarantees the quality of our work with a 3-year painting workmanship guarantee in St. Louis. This warranty covers peeling, blistering, cracking, flaking, and excessive chalking that may occur due to improper application of paint materials under normal wear and tear. We refer to these issues as “Warranted Conditions.”

Our painting warranty in St. Louis ensures your peace of mind and protects your investment. If you experience any Warranted Conditions within 3 years of your project’s completion, please contact us to schedule a repair.

This warranty is valid only if the following conditions are met:

  • Full Payment: The full contract price, as outlined in your original agreement, must be paid.
  • Property Access: You must grant access to the property for the contractor, employees, and any necessary personnel to perform repairs.

To file a claim under this warranty, you must notify the contractor’s office within 60 days of discovering a warrantied condition. This notification should include: A copy of this warranty document and a detailed description of the claim.

Some items are excluded from all warranties. Items never warrantied include the following:

  • Damages Caused By:
  • Structural defects, failure, or settlement
  • Improper drainage, fire, explosion, chemicals, etc.
  • Condensation, moisture issues
  • Excessive heat/cold, surface/substrate failure
  • Contaminants, work not done by Malone Painting
  • Varnished surfaces, galvanized metal, natural bleeding
  • Cracks in drywall, plaster, or wood
  • Peeling, blistering, chipping caused by:
  • Ordinary wear and tear, abnormal use
  • Existing paint peeling, abrasion, mechanical damage
  • Improper cleaning, chemical/gas exposure
  • Acts of God, animals, extreme weather, vandalism, negligence
  • Horizontal Surfaces (decks, floors, stairs)
  • Excessive wear on fences, decks and exterior doors

Additional Warranty Notes:

  • Warranty is non-transferable and cannot be modified without written approval.
  • Applies only to single-family residences and approved materials.
  • Final payment acknowledges completion of work (no additional work/touch-ups).
  • Free touch-up paint available within 30 days following of project completion.
